AWFUL

I applied your sunscreen to my pale skin and all I got back was a terrible 2nd degree burn that is going to give me skin cancer in the future, my vacation is not ruined and I can no longer sleep with my body being so burnt,

Inquiry

This is not a complaint - more of an inquiry. Thousands of people visit our National Park beaches in PEI. A group of us have put up a regular size clock (nailed to the wooden boardwalk in a prominent place) so all can quickly see the time of day. It draws many comments, endless conversations, and I've seen pictures taken of it by both locals and tourists. It's exposed to all the elements but never seems to fall down - lasting the entire season from June - end of September. This is a cheap clock with glass (actually plastic) over the face. Our group of regulars have commented that it would be really neat to have a clock advertising a sunscreen company. Coopertone could be prominently displayed, while serving as a functional device for literally thousands to enjoy. Would your company like the opportunity to advertise in PEI by donating a clock? I could be responsible for the installation if you were to send it to me.

On 5/25 I bought two coppertone sunscreen from target. I only bought this brand because of the promo. If you buy two you get a free movie ticket. I’ve submitted my receipt but you keep rejecting it. If someone could please look into this I would be very happy. Thank you

My daughter got sunburned burned

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I’ve always used coppertone water babies spf 50. Yesterday I applied it 4 times on my daughter throughout a 7 hr time period and my she ended up with sunburn on her face, neck, shoulders and back. Checked the expiration date just to make sure and it still had a year left to expire. Usually very happy with this product but now I will no longer be a customer.

At least you know her vitamin D level is now up to normal. Do some research online about sunscreens.

You cannot go by the brand name but must find out the best ingredients for the protection level you want and then look at the bottle for those same ingredients.

With everything now being cheapened, you cannot rely on a brand name product to be better than a cheaper, house brand for example. Look at what's in it before you buy!

Ruined our first vacation in 5 years. My son used your sunscreen I purchased and bought the high end spray spf or spc 50. We went home after paying 950 at the Er since that was outle food money for Myrtle beach for 5 days. Now I hear a lot of people are saying your produce isn’t working. Patricktotten76@***.com

Fun in the sun for four hours turned nightmare

I always buy coppertone water babies for myself and kids well this day was horrible. Applied atleast 4/5 times within 4 hours and both myself and daughter burned bad. Not sure if i got two bad bottles or what but we used out of both bottles so apparently neither worked. Feel so bad for my daughter

***. You shouldn't take a baby outside in the first place.

Then you shouldn't put chemical compounds on them.

Did you try a dab on baby before slathering him/her in it ? Why not ?

You didn't say how long baby was outside but this is your fault so don't do it again.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My children have been burnt bybcoppertone since they were babies. Causing serious 3rd degree burns. I have not used this product for years due to the horribleness of ehat happens when i do. Today i went to the beach with family and the sunscreen that was presented was coppertone. Forgetting all these years that they get burnt guess what happens???? We are all severely burnt. Coppertone is *** and i will never forget how *** it is again.

Coppertone No Longer Puts An Expiration Date On Its Lotions - Yikes!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Now owned by Bayer (really!) and as such you would think that they would 'care' about their customers. The only thing they care about is their profits, so much so that they want to save a penny or two by no longer putting an expiration date on the suntan lotion.

They would rather have you get burned thinking it never expires rather than tell you that this product goes bad after a specific date, like it should, and therefore you shouldn't use it because you can be harmed. Legally they might be covered, but morally they are corporate *** I'm no longer buying Coppertone or Bayer products. Let's "burn" them back with our wallets by spending on competitors' brands that they don't make.

Bayer/Coppertone should be ashamed of itself. Who's the *** that made that decision?

Cons:
  • Focus on profits not customers
  • Focus on profits not customers health
  • Poor decision to exclude expiration date on products

I will not buy any more sunscreen without an expiration date; all should show a date and I should not have to call to find out when it expires.

I have a Bayer Coopertone sport 50 and the expiration date ON THE PRODUCT READS EX08/2019. Is it easy to read no but has an expiration date
